It's look  like I left this blog unattended for so long...time for spring clean the blog...haha

For the past few months, many things happened in my life...But the most fancy  is I am on DIET Again !!!...

Guess what...due to my medical treatment since August 2011, I gain weight from 63 kg to 70kg. Surprisingly...The weight stop at 70kg for the past 8 months...Oh NOOO !!!

As a mom for 3 girls & a wife...surely the weight gain concerns me a lot...Not only that, my daughters always tease me saying my "spare tyre" looking like a round cheese...Can you imagine that??

SO.. one way to get rid of "the cheese" look is to start on a DIET...At the moment I'm on a  low carbohydrates & practising healthy living to cut down my kg (s) plus I also taking diet supplement to enhance my metabolism & doing some routine exercise 2-3 times a week...

Btw.. you can visit my facebook page for detail...

I just want to look slim & healthy due to my responsible as a mom, wife & handling my business need me to be active all the time.

But due to a change of hormone in my body...I probably must work extra hard due to low metabolism & at the same time, I also under going a hormone treatment . Hopefully will achieve my target weight soon...InsyaAllah...

Ok , I will update about my progress later. I really need a high MOTIVATION now....Eat More Protein, Low Carbo, Less Sugar ,Take Supplement & Exercise....Have FAITH....InsyaAllah...

Memories Of My Late Father

Salam & Good Day everyone...Happy Ramadhan...

How's your fasting month?? Hopefully all of you be an  energetic & healthier ever....

This Ramadhan is quite a challenge for me. My daily schedule is full of activities, appointments, trainings, juggling with kids & rushing with targets. But it's ok, I manage to handle it. Thanks to few years experience being my own boss & earning my own income based on my performance.  Luckily with coaching  & teamwork from my teammates help me a lots.

1st August .....

Yes...finally 1st August ..This date is my late father's birthday...I will always remember this date. My father En. Hamid Bin Zain , passed away on Friday's night 8th August 1997. It has been 15 years without my beloved father. My father was born on 1st August 1945 &  he was a teacher. The last school he taught was Secondary School Tunku Abdul Rahman in Mergong, Kedah. He was a nice teacher and during the funeral few students visit our house & cried. At that moment I felt my father has done a great job teaching the students to value their teacher's effort.

Hamid Bin Zain (1.8.45 - 8.8.97)
Well, I want to remember my father with the happy memories. Somehow I was quite frustrated on the day he died because I was not at his side during the critical moment. My father died from stroke & the attack was only few minutes before he passed away.

Actually, at that time I was just started working in Penang. 1st April 1997 was my first day working after graduated. I felt a little bit disappointed since I don't have much opportunity to give more to my father. But overall, I knew he already happy with our little success. Nonetheless, I still have my Mom & I will always cherish her as well as my late father...

I shared many memories & thoughts with my late father. Sometimes in a difficult situations, he sat with me & we discussed together. The most I will miss during Raya is his Serunding Daging.
The last family picture taken in 1997, a few months before my father died

If my father is still alive today, I'm sure he will be such a happy grandfather surrounding with his  grandchildren because he loves kids so much.

Whatever it is, I will always remember him & I want my children to love him even though they never see their grandfather.

Last but not least...I always pray to Allah to blessed  him & I pray hard to see him again in Jannah.

Al- FATIHAH.....
Translation: [Quran 1:1].
The Lord of the Day of Judgement.
Thee alone do we worship and Thee alone we seek for help.
Guide us to the Right Path.
The path of those upon whom Thou has bestowed favors,
Not of those who Thou has cursed once nor of those who have gone astray.

Salam Ramadhan To All Muslims

Assalamualaikum...Finally , Ramadhan is coming

I would like to take the opportunity to wish all Muslims Salam Ramadhan 1433 H / 2012 M. Happy fasting & let us grab all the promised benefits during the month.

This Ramadhan is a bit different from the past years because I will be fasting without my eldest daughter around.  She will only be with us during Saturday & Sunday for the rest of the month. As a mom, of course I will feel sad ..

Nonetheless..until today, I didn't make any preparation yet for Syawal since I am quite occupied for the past few weeks. Maybe this week I will shopping for my daughters Baju Kurung & few shirts for them. Not much decoration for the house since we will be celebrating 1st Syawal at my hometown Alor Setar , Kedah. This year is my turn . Me & my husband don't have much argument on which hometown we're going to celebrate Idul Fitri (Hari Raya) because we agreed to take turn since the past 14 years.

However, for Saturday & Sunday , we normally break fasting at my mother-in-law's house in Kuala Lumpur. Basically, we make an effort to pleasant both families. So far, so good.....

During Ramadhan. I plan to slow down my activities but looking at my planner, I can say that I'm gonna have a busy schedule as usual since I have a target to achieved before Syawal...BUT...I'll make sure it will not 'interrupt' my Ramadhan ibadah...InsyaAllah.

Last but not least , let us find the Lailatul Qadr (Night of Power) with faith & hope blessed from Allah.

Lailatul Qadr (Night of Power)
"There is night in the month of Ramadhan which is better than a thousand months. This night is called Lailatul Qadr.
According to Hadith, this night occurs during the last ten days of Ramadhan on one of the odd numbered nights. Usually it is celebrated on the 27th night of this holy month. It is a night of great importance and enormous blessings for Muslims."

May the blessing for all practises in this holy month...

I wish Happy Ramadhan to all Muslims Friends....

A BUSY FRIDAY

Thanks Allah It's Friday...

Today is really a tiring day for me because I'm meeting few clients & have to settle all my work before leaving for Alor Setar tomorrow.  Due to some family matter, I need to go back to my hometown for few days from Saturday to Tuesday.

Since it's not a school holiday, me & my husband agreed that I will have to drive alone to Alor Setar. Although I will enjoy my journey, but I still feel a bit worry leaving my kids preparing themselves for school.

Furthermore my daughter Syadatul is going for her 2 days school camping today. She's so excited since this is the first time she attends a camping. Yesterday ,she asked me to take her to school before 2 pm today since the bus will leave at 2;30pm. I agreed without realising I've already confirmed my appointment at 1:30pm.  Oh Noooo !!!!  I can't reschedule the appointment since this is the 2nd time we resceduled  it.

Here I am....torn between kids & work...what should I do ??

As a mum, I feel so guilty to Syadatul.  But  ALLAH IS GREAT.... He's giving me a chance to be a great mom... (Just to make me fell less guilty actually)

Last night my husband came back from the office saying that his department organising a welcome Ramadhan party before Friday's prayer today.  So..there comes the IDEA...I suggested to my husband to sneak out from the office during party & perform his friday's prayer near our house & after that , quickly take Syadatul to the bus... what a relief ...

Brilliant idea right?? Haha....Therefore, I will have a peaceful of mind presenting my financial proposal to my clients. Guess what , I successfully closed few deals today...Alhamdulillah & by 6.30pm I already done with my work...

Not only that, to my surprised, my husband called me in the afternoon informing that he has been assigned for a road tour in Penang starting Sunday till Tuesday. Once again...I felt sooo blessed that I don't need to drive alone.

BUT what about kids? Never mind....just skip the school for few days. What to do !!

While Mummy & Daddy busy with work, the kids can entertain Mak Tok (or otherwise...hihi) .Furthermore the kids miss their Mak Tok very much...

Tomorrow, Saturday will be another busy day for me because I need to do all the house chores & packing in the morning, visiting Shazwani at hostel in the afternoon, fetching Syadatul from camp in the evening & leaving for Alor Setar at night... Luckily I'm not driving....so, I can Zzzzz......hihi

Till then...need to rest now...

What Is Financial Freedom ?

Have you ever ask yourself  "What Is The Meaning of Financial Freedom?"

To my understanding, Financial Freedom is ;
"I can spend on whatever I like & whenever I want without having to worry about money and time..."

To achieve Financial Freedom you need to know what is your Financial Goal. The Financial Goal will determine how you going to plan for your money creation. Some people makes a lots of money while working but broke during retirement time.

To set financial goal & achieve the financial freedom you need to have Financial Education & Actions.  Financial education will teach you the right way on how to save & grow the money. At the end of the day, it's up to you to ensure the financial goal is achieved. No one can  make it happen except yourself.

Nobody in this world want to work for the rest of the life. As for me, I give myself  5-10 years to meet my financial goal. I have no choice !!! I really need to work hard for my children education & retirement fund. I don't mind being tired or rushing on the road looking for money now than retired broke later.

Some of my friends said I'm being greedy running for money but for me this is not about greediness. This is about what I want in my life. I will not stop or satisfied until I successfully achieved my goal. I want to enjoy my retirement day doing the things I love & spending time with my entire family. Furthermore due to the rise in living costs & life expectancy in Malaysia & the whole world has led to the increasing need for retirement planning.

But not to worry because there are so many ways to achieve financial freedom. You just need to understand how & take the necessary actions.

Therefore, PLAN YOUR RETIREMENT OR RETIRED BROKE !!! THE CHOICE IS YOURS.....

BEWARE!! DANGEROUS HOBBIES....

Have U Ever Got A Dangerous Hobbies Now??? Please keep it up!!!

Sound  strange right?? Haha....Just to catch your attentions. Actually what I meant was a hobby that can be turned into money makers. Nowadays I notice that, many working mums prefer quitting their jobs to be with the kids and family. Some of them just be the full-time mum, some of them involve in networking business and some of them expanding their hobbies into home based business. Surprisingly, a few of them really make a good income and earning more than they had while working on full time job.

While I was browsing through my friendlists status on Facebook today, my eyes caught on a few of my colleagues hobbies which can be turned into good income.

Today, I just want to share with you some of my friends hobbies & their ambitious in baking cakes & chocolates. I want to give credits to them because very patience with their baking. I'm not so keen at baking cakes & cholcolates but love eating them....LOL....

Introducing to Mrs. Suhaili Mohd Yusof of CinderEllies Cakes & Bake. I knew her since A-Level but we went to different university. I'm so sorry Ellie, if you are reading this..I'm so impressed with your passion & how creative you are in baking & designing your cakes. Remind me of  "Cakes Boss"  Buddy Valastro on TLC Channel.  Ellie bakes from home since she had 4 boys to handle.

Friends... If you want to have nice cake on any special occasion, do negotiate with Ellie. You can find her on Facebook Suhaili Mohd Yusof.

Another creative cake baker, also knew her while studying A-Level... Mrs. Rosefizah Jantan.  A mummy of  5 children and she also bake from home. Rose, a former manager banker began baking cakes as a hobby & now receiving orders for special occasions from friends...

You can find her details on Facebook Rosefizah Jantan

Last but not least my former colleague from my previous telecommunication company, Mrs Rizmaliza Osman from Tisa Chocolates.  Actually, I called he nickname Yang. She's a mother of 3 kids. Prior resigning, she started her home based business few years ago &  had many corporate & individual customers till now.

Do you know that she attended the chocolate lesson in the same class with Erra Fazira?? Well, you can check out their picture on facebook.

Please do find her on Facebook Rismaliza Osman or Tisa Chocolate Riz Osman.

To be honest, I feel a bit envy with them because they manage to produce their own products under their own labels.  Baking need patience, creativity & effort which I don't possess. That's why I excel in another areas but not bakings........

So Guys....If u have a 'dangerous' hobbies... do expand them...Who knows you might be the next Millionaire......

Welcome To My Blog

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim....

Hi...I'm starting my new blog today ....

Actually, I've created this blog a few weeks ago and after going through some 'constructions work'...finally I got to pen down something....Well, you can say I'm still an amature in online blogging...I like readings blogs because most of the time I find a very good points & tips from it.  I also want my kids, family & friends to read my blog and keep attached to me always.

My interest is more on business, finance, kids & family, interior design (eventhough I'm not good at it) & also shoppings (I called it a women's therapy)...

In this blog, I will include my stories, articles on business & financial and also sharing few interesting subjects that I think appropriate to share with readers and at the same time I like to create a lots of networks.

For a start, let me tell u something about myself. In average, I'm a normal person but having a huge dream.  Actually, i like writing & somehow I secretly (not secret anymore) have a dream to produce my own book collections like the well known British Author, J K Rowling (Harry Potter). But I'm not really good with words, so...writing on blog will be my best option at the moment. Truly, I got another passion. Maybe I will jot down later in another post.

Ok, in my life, there are few persons who are very important to me....just wanna share something about my kids.

My first princess, Nur Shazwani Izzati Binti Abdul Razak, was born on 12 June 1999. Currently pursuing her study at boarding school in Selangor. Actives in sports & curriculums at school. She's friendly but at home she prefer having her sweet time in her room to going out with mummy & daddy..(hmmm..good..boleh le mum & dad dating berdua jerr). But most of the time she's more open with mummy & eager to share her teenage life with mummy...

My second princess, Nur Shafiqah Nabihah Binti Abdul Razak, was born on 1st April 2001.  This girl is more reserve. Art is her ambitious & purple is her favourites. She likes to eat mummy's cook & always remind me not to put her on boarding school later coz she will miss mummy's dishes....(ohh..how sweet)...Nonetheless, she's more independent & quite mature at her age.

Lastly, My little chicky princess...really really chicky, Nur Syadatul Amirah Binti Abdul Razak. Born on 23 July 2002. Love computers so much. She's good at editing pictures & creatives too. She adores pink very much & most of her belongings are pink except for her blue jeans... (can u imagine that???).  Mc Donalds fast food & 100 Plus drink are her favourites. She's spoilt a little bit , maybe because mummy & daddy pampered her so much...but still within the limits.  She likes to talks & always have an excuses for everything that mummy said....but  follows her daddy's order accordingly....(but, that's ok with mummy.)

Ok, that's all about my kids. Actually, I also have 3 siblings, my elder brother Sharizal Hamid, my youngest sister Sharline Hamid & me.  Very special persons in my life , my mum, Pn Zainon Tapri  (was born on 11.11.46) staying at my 'kampung' in Alor Setar  is a housewife & my late father, Allahyarham En Hamid Zain (was born on 1.8.45 & passed away on 8.8.97) was a teacher. Many said that my characters took more from my father's side...(maybe...). I'm married to a special man, Abdul Razak Ahmad which I met while studying in London 16 years ago..(wow, quite a long time ago).

After finished my secondary school, I was offered by MARA to further my studies in United Kingdom in condition I have to pass my A Level & First year domestic. In UK , I met with my husband & we got married 1 year after graduated. I'm quite lucky, 6 months after graduated from UK , I was offered my 1st job in Telecommunication Company in April 1997 & served there for 6 years. After that I worked for several companies in investment & insurance industries. Lastly in 2007, I decided to be a full time mum & take care of my children. I believed I made a right decision & in 2010 , I started my network business on health care products from home & also diversify my skills & knowledge in unit trust industry.

Almost everyday, my schedules & routines are the same and quite tight. Jungling with kids & works at home really demand very high patience from me. It's easy for a work-at-home-mum to loose focus on work but after sometimes everything turns smooths for me. It's just need a proper schedule & I have to follow the schedule accordingly (eventhough many time I slipped on it...oppss). Above all, I'm happy with my life now. Till now, I will write more stories later.
